Ian Schultz of Portland Pirates suffered injury during tonights minorleague game against the Adirondack Phantoms. He is expected to be sidelined for a couple of days . That was just good, clean, hard hitting hockey. If you think I look bad now you should see the other guy, he said as medics fastened him onto the stretcher.

Philippe Gogulla marked a new career high in goals with 12 tallies after scoring in tonights game against Chicago Blackhawks on a feed by Niklas Kronwall. With line mates like I have, it makes it pretty easy to score goals, he said at the post-game press conference.

A native of Germany, Philippe Gogulla was originally drafted to the NHL by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2nd round of the 2005 entry draft. He has appeared in 277 NHL games during his career, notching 37 goals and adding 45 assists along with 581 penalty minutes.
